April 2026 Community Newsletter

21 March, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, is an important reminder to us as global citizens to uphold frameworks that promote understanding and equality. Whether through conscious action or education, we have a responsibility to foster an empathetic and respectful community.

BATTLE OF THE BRAINS ON TRIVIA NIGHT

Four brave teams faced off in a battle of wits, speed, and knowledge of CityU milk during our Trivia Night held on 7 March. Participants tested their trivia knowledge and kept their eyes on the prize. The competition heated up and there was non stop buzzer action from everyone. In the end, the winners were... Team Winners (unironically). Thanks for your participation~

MUNCHIN' & MINGLIN' CENTRAL ASIAN FOOD

Our Munch & Mingle: World Food Series continued with a visit to Yurt, the first modern Central Asian Restaurant in Hong Kong. Our Kyrgyz friend, Kamila, was super excited to share the food that she grew up which made the meal even more special. Some of us got to try halal horse meat for the first time! Stay tuned for our next World Food Series installment :)
