Sunny Food Tour: Tsuen Wan Mixian

Sunny, our local food guide, brought us to one of his favourite restaurants for his favourite meals of all time, Mixian!! Hidden in the markets of Tseun Wan, we got to try a local spot that specializes in rice noodles. We got to choose between different broth flavors including a special Mongolian broth! It was great to chat and get to know each other over a gem of a dish. Of course, we had to finish it off with Tofu fah, a silky tofu dessert~

Munch & Mingle: A collaboration

This Munch & Mingle was a collaboration with HKU ICE and brought together two communities (talk about ICE-breakers ;)) . Our venue for the night was Afrika Kitchen, where we got to try iconic foods from the African continent. We dove into the fragrant jollof rice and bowls of egos soup, a nutty stew with tender meat and leafy greans, flavors you wouldn't find elsewhere in HK. Paired with new friends from HKU, we finished off the night with full bellies and warmth.
