This Summer, Lead the Change with AIESEC

We're sharing a summer programme we believe in — and your students can join at a special rate.

At ICE, we're always on the lookout for experiences that do what we try to do every day — push young people beyond the familiar, spark curiosity, and build the kind of empathy you can't learn from a textbook. We're excited to share the Youth to Sustainability Summit 2026 (YS26), organised by AIESEC in Hong Kong, as a programme we genuinely believe in. As a partner, we're sharing it with our school community so your students hear about it early — and with a special rate.

What is YS26?

Youth to Sustainability Summit is AIESEC in Hong Kong's annual youth leadership conference — a five-day residential programme that brings together 120 Form 5–6 students from across the city to tackle real sustainability challenges through design thinking, community visits, and peer collaboration.

Event at a Glance

Dates: 22, 25–28 June 2026 (five days, overnight)
Who: Form 5–6 students (Grade 11–12) · 120 places only
Venue: Partner university in Hong Kong · TBC
Delegate fee: HK$950/person (HK$850 with ICE referral code — see below)
Organised by: AIESEC in Hong Kong

Track Themes - Three Lenses on Sustainability

Participants pick one track and spend the five days researching it, meeting people working on it, and designing a solution to present publicly.

🎨 Arts & Culture ⚡ Green Technology ♻️ Waste Management

Five Days That Actually Mean Something

🗣️ Youth Speak Forum

Real conversations with community leaders and changemakers. Students explore how different people are tackling Hong Kong's social challenges — and what role young people can play.

🗺️ Story Island + Field Trip

Step outside the classroom and into the community. Students visit NGOs and local organisations, hear firsthand stories, and see sustainability work happening on the ground.

💡 Design Thinking Workshop + Public Showcase

Armed with research and real empathy, students use design thinking to build actionable proposals — then pitch their ideas to a panel and the public. Skills that matter long after the summit ends.

Why We're Sharing This

YS26 isn't a conference where students sit and listen. It puts them in Hong Kong communities they may have walked past without ever truly seeing — and asks them to do something about it. That alignment with curiosity, empathy, and local-to-global thinking is exactly why this sits well with us.

"Participants will be divided into groups to discuss and analyse social issues in Hong Kong critically, and harness solutions using the design thinking framework." — AIESEC in Hong Kong

Students who've been through ICE programmes will find YS26 a natural next step: more independent, more community-facing, and with the added dimension of overnight bonding with peers from across the city. We think it's a meaningful way to spend the first week of summer.
